Step 1: Measuring and Shaping

Use a scale for accuracy, and work quickly as foam clay tends to dry fast. Knead and mix the clay thoroughly, ensuring a smooth finish.
Shape the body into a flat round form, the head into an oval, and the legs as tiny teardrops.

Building the Turtle:
Use a toothpick to join the head and body for added strength. If your clay is on the dryer side, a dab of super glue can be added.
Apply super glue to the turtle’s body where the legs will attach, carefully connecting them without getting fingers stuck.

Create eye sockets with a paintbrush or pointy tool, and shape eyeballs from black foam clay. Attach them to the holes, using minimal glue to avoid excess squirting on the sides.

Graham Cracker Shell:
Fill a graham cracker silicone mold with brown clay. Use a 1.5-inch heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out heart shapes.
Shade the crackers with brown pastels for a realistic baked appearance. Add a roasted look to the turtle by applying brown pastels to specific spots on the head, body, and legs.

Chocolate Drip and Sprinkles:
Heat your glue gun and start spreading the chocolate, pushing it to the edges for a realistic drip effect.

Work quickly as hot glue dries fast. Add sprinkles to the glue before it dries, using super glue if needed.
Finally, attach the graham cracker hearts on top and bottom with more super glue.
For the finishing touch, make those eyes shine by applying a layer of markers magic or glossy Mod Podge.

Congratulations, you’ve crafted a S’mortle filled with love and Valentine’s charm! Whether you gift it to a friend or keep it as a delightful decoration, this adorable creation is sure to bring smiles and warmth. Happy crafting!
If you try this project and love it, I would love if you could come back and give it 5 stars!
