Why is Foam Clay so AMAZING?
Crafting with foam clay is not just about creating cute figures; it’s like a therapy session that’s all about relaxation and pure enjoyment. Imagine the joy of squishing, molding, and creating without any mess – that’s the beauty of foam clay! It’s not just for the kids; adults can totally get in on the fun too.
So, if you’re looking for a creative outlet that’s soothing and brings out your inner artist, foam clay is the way to go! It’s a fantastic indoor activity for the whole fam! No Day goes by without my son asking for some squishy foam clay time. And the best part is when it dries it does not crumble like playdough would. Not even if it’s left under the couch or forgotten in some corner. What are you waiting for? let’s get those creative vibes flowing together! 🌈✨

Step 1 – Bottom Cushion of Valentine’s Loveseat:
Take pink foam clay and shape it into a rectangle.
Press all sides onto the worksurface to form a neat rectangular cushion.
Use a sculpting blade to make angled cuts, creating a pillowy texture.

Poke a buttonhole at each intersection for added detail.
Place corks from tiny bottles on the underside to use as the loveseat’s legs.

Step 2 – Back Cushion of Valentine’s Loveseat:
Take a larger piece of pink foam clay and shape it into a longer rectangle.
Ensure it reaches from the bottom left corner to the bottom right corner.
Mimic the details of the bottom cushion by making diagonal cuts with a blade.
Add buttonholes at each intersection for a consistent look.

place the backrest on top of the back edge of the bottom pillow and wrap it around the sides.

Step 3 – Heart Pillow:
Shape a heart with red foam clay, using a tool or paintbrush to help with the shape. Alternatively you can use a cookie cutter if you have a 1inch size.
Add the same angled cuts and buttonholes for texture and detail.
Place the heart pillow onto the seat, completing your adorable loveseat!
