Why Choose Foam Clay Over Decoden Cream or Cream Glue?
Ease of Use:
One of the biggest advantages of foam clay is its simplicity. There’s no need to mix ingredients or worry about consistency, as you would with decoden cream or cream glue. Simply open the package, mold your desired shape, and let it air dry.
Mess-Free Crafting:
With foam clay, you avoid the mess associated with mixing and piping decoden creams. This makes it a cleaner and more convenient option, especially for beginners or those who prefer a hassle-free crafting experience.
Realistic Texture:
Foam clay can be manipulated to mimic the look and texture of real whipped cream, giving your fake bake projects that delicious topping. It holds its shape well and can be painted or decorated with your favorite clay charms and sprinkles.
No Skills needed:
If you can pinch and twist with your fingers then you are able to achieve the whipped cream look. No piping skills needed!

MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED:
Step 1: Shape the base

The amount of your clay will depend on how big you want your whipped cream topper to be. Start by shaping a cone and use your desired mug or glass to determin the final size. Adjust until you get the perfect amount. Mine is over hanging just slightly, the final result will be slightly bigger due to the ruffles we will be adding to it.
Step 2: Pinch the tip
Next, pinch off the tip and pull up. This will form the iconing tip of the whipped cream, just like as if done with a piping tip. It helps to have short nails to avoid leaving any ugly marks.

Step 3: Pinch and Twist
Final step is to pinch and twist to create those ruffles for the whipped cream look. Start at the top and work your way down. Turn your cone and keep working from top to bottom.

Then go back into the gaps. There is no right or wrong. Pinch and twist until iy looks right. You can repinch and twist in areas where the ruffles arent big enough or dont have the right shape. In the end it will look like beautiful whipped cream.
